Quiet & Welcoming
It's very clean and quiet. There are lots of rooms to study in for children and adults. They staff is friendly and greet you when you first walk inside. The sections of books are easy to navigate and clearly labeled and the online services are fantastic.

Library Help from Home
I needed information about a collection of short stories, but there's construction vehicles tearing up the street in front of my driveway, so leaving my house is a hassle. Called the information desk and the man I spoke with found the collection I was asking about and provided me with all of the information I needed with no hesitation. He was so kind and helpful!

To get a library card, simply visit the library or apply online. Library cards are available for residents within eligible tax zones. Call or visit the library to check if your address is eligible for a Pekin Public Library card. Apply for your card now!

Yes! As a library member, you can borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks through our digital library, using either Libby or Boundless. Browse our collection and start reading today!
You can return books and materials in person or via our convenient 24/7 drop-box. We have a drive-up book drop on the west side of the building, and books can also be returned inside during regular hours.
